Terms of Service
Effective September 1, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Atlas Pay. By creating a workspace or using the Atlas Pay bot you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy.
1. What Atlas Pay is
Atlas Pay is a payments workspace that lets businesses create Stripe-hosted payment links, subscription plans, and customer-specific checkout links, and then follow the resulting payments, customers, subscribers, balances, and payouts in one place. Atlas Pay is also available as a bot inside the Atlas messaging app.
Atlas Pay does not itself hold, move, or settle funds. Payments are processed by Stripe under your own Stripe connected account and the Stripe Services Agreement. Atlas Pay reads and writes data to that account on your behalf.
2. Your account and workspace
You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding agreement to use Atlas Pay. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials confidential and for everything that happens in your workspace, including actions taken by team members you invite and by Atlas on your instructions.
Give us accurate business information. Stripe may ask for identity and business details during onboarding; those details are collected and verified by Stripe, not by Atlas Pay.
3. Acceptable use
You may only use Atlas Pay to accept payments for lawful goods and services you actually provide. You may not use Atlas Pay for anything on Stripe's list of restricted businesses, for fraud, money laundering, or deceptive practices, or in a way that infringes anyone's rights.
We can suspend or close a workspace that breaks these rules or that creates risk for Stripe, other users, or us. Where reasonable we will tell you why and give you a chance to fix the problem.
4. Payments, refunds, and disputes
Every payment link, subscription, refund, and payout is executed by Stripe. Stripe's processing fees and payout schedules apply. You are responsible for refunds, chargebacks, taxes, and receipts for your customers.
Atlas can create links and issue refunds only when you ask it to. Review what it shows you before you confirm a refund; confirmed refunds are sent to Stripe immediately and cannot be undone by Atlas Pay.
5. Test mode
Workspaces marked as test mode use Stripe test data. Nothing created in test mode charges a real card or moves real money, and test data may be cleared at any time.
6. Fees
Atlas Pay is currently provided without a subscription fee. If we introduce fees we will tell you at least 30 days in advance and you can stop using the service before they take effect.
7. Your content and data
You own the information you and your customers put into Atlas Pay. You give us permission to store and process it so we can run the service, show it back to you, and send it to Stripe and the other providers described in our Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for having the right to share any customer information you enter, including email addresses used for customer-specific checkout links.
8. Atlas
Atlas uses a third-party language model to understand requests and call Atlas Pay tools. It can make mistakes. Check amounts, currencies, and recipients before sharing a link or confirming a refund. We do not use your conversations to train models.
9. Availability and changes
We work to keep Atlas Pay available, but it depends on Stripe, Cloudflare, and other providers and may be interrupted. We may change or discontinue features. Material changes to these terms will be posted here with a new effective date.
10. Warranty and liability
Atlas Pay is provided as is. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, and our total liability to you for any claim arising from the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or 100 US dollars if you paid none.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, or for anything caused by Stripe, your bank, your customers, or your own use of the service.
11. Ending the agreement
You can stop using Atlas Pay at any time and ask us to delete your workspace. Your Stripe account and its data stay with Stripe and remain yours. Sections that by their nature should survive, including liability and data terms, continue after termination.
