A gift card is a sale that has already happened and a customer who has not walked in yet. Atlas Pay handles the selling, the sending, and the arithmetic that follows.
Set your denominations
Offer a short list of amounts — the round numbers people actually buy — so the choice takes a second rather than a minute.
Or let them choose
Turn on an open amount and the buyer enters whatever they want to give, which suits businesses where every basket is a different size.
Delivered to the recipient
The card goes to the person it is for by email, with your business name, the amount, and a short message from the buyer.
Redeemed against a purchase
At checkout the recipient enters the code and the balance comes off the total. Anything left over stays on the card for next time.
Balances in the dashboard
See what you have sold, what is still outstanding, and what has been redeemed, without keeping a spreadsheet alongside.
Sold like anything else
Gift cards sit in the same catalogue as your products and settle to the same bank account, on the same fee.
An unredeemed gift card is a promise with a number attached. The dashboard keeps that number current: sold, redeemed, and still outstanding, updated as each card is used.
You set the card up once. After that the buyer does the work and the recipient gets the email.
Choose the amounts
Pick a set of denominations, switch on an open amount, or do both and let the buyer decide which suits them.
The buyer pays
They pay by card on the secure checkout, add the recipient's email and a message, and the card is issued straight away.
The recipient redeems
They enter the code at checkout and the balance comes off. Whatever is left stays on the card until they use it.
Sell your products online from a catalogue, with the same hosted checkout.
Ask for a one-off amount by WhatsApp, email, social, or text.
Let someone buy a card at the counter by scanning with their phone camera.
Gift cards carry the same transaction fee as everything else. Compare the plans.
Yes. You can publish a set of fixed denominations, allow an open amount where the buyer types the figure, or offer both side by side and let them pick whichever they prefer.
Digitally, by email. The buyer enters the recipient's address at checkout and the card is delivered with your business name, the amount, the redemption code, and any message the buyer wrote. There is nothing physical to print or post.
The purchase amount comes off the balance and the remainder stays on the card for the next time. If the purchase costs more, the card covers what it can and the rest is paid by card at checkout.
The standard transaction fee applies when the card is bought: 4.9% + $0.40 on the Free and Brand plans, or 4.2% + $0.40 on Pro. Redeeming the card later is not a second card payment, so it is not charged again.
